Our bags are crafted from premium wild materials like Finnish elk leather and Scandinavian bovine leather. Production takes place in Budapest, Hungary, and Shenzhen, China—both known for their skilled leather artisans. The unique properties of these leathers require expert craftsmanship to ensure exceptional quality, durability, and timeless Scandinavian style.

Wipe it down with a soft, damp cloth and use a colorless leather conditioner when needed. Avoid storing the bag in high temperatures or direct sunlight for extended periods.

Our sunglasses are crafted in a specialized workshop on the outskirts of Shanghai, known for its expertise in working with wood material. The factory places a strong focus on product development and advanced equipment.

We’re proud to collaborate closely with this skilled team to continuously develop some of the finest wooden sunglasses in the world. The workshop employs around 30 professionals, with many dedicated to product development and innovation.

The purpose of polarization is to reduce glare from horizontal reflections, such as from water or roads. The polarization of sunglass lenses is achieved through a special film added inside the lens, allowing only certain light rays to pass through.

Polarized lenses are an excellent choice for bright days, whether you're enjoying outdoor activities or driving!

Lens replacement is possible for all our frames, and many customers have obtained prescription lenses for our sunglasses. We recommend contacting a knowledgeable optical store to have the lenses made and fitted to the frames. It's a good idea to confirm the suitability of your prescription with the optician. You can have Aarni frames made into both prescription and sunglasses tailored to your needs!

Yes, they are! However, it's best to avoid extreme temperatures and rapid temperature changes. Therefore, we do not recommend leaving the sunglasses in a hot car for extended periods.

All Aarni sunglasses are designed to be unisex and one-size-fits-all. Their classic proportions ensure a great fit for various face shapes, allowing you to enjoy a stylish look for many sunny years ahead. The stainless steel spring-loaded hinges ensure that the temples fit comfortably on different head sizes.

Our lenses have a darkness level of 2–3 on the CAT scale (0–5), meaning they offer excellent sun protection while remaining versatile for varying light conditions.

Some of our sunglass models feature metal temples and nose pads, which can be slightly bent and adjusted. Through extensive product development, we have created optimally sized temples that fit most people perfectly. However, wooden temples cannot be bent.

All of our sunglasses feature optically high-quality polycarbonate lenses. They are highly impact-resistant and comfortably lightweight and thin. They offer 100% UVA and UVB protection.

Each pair of Aarni sunglasses comes with a handy case to protect them from impact, and a microfiber cloth for easy lens cleaning.

The wooden parts don’t require special care, but to maintain their natural shine and condition, we recommend applying a wood treatment oil once a year. Paraffin oil works well for this.

To prevent the wood from drying or cracking, avoid exposing your sunglasses to excessive heat for long periods—such as leaving them in a hot car.
