The agreement, finalized on 4 February 2025, covers the delivery of over 750,000 pairs of high-performance merino wool socks, worth more than €4 million.

Expanding Production Capacity to Meet Growing Demand

UphillSport’s Managing Director, Jussi Koskinen, highlights this contract as the company’s largest and longest single supply deal to date. This partnership not only ramps up production volume but also boosts job opportunities in Finland, contributing 13.4 man-years of employment.

To fulfil this demand, UphillSport is investing in new manufacturing capabilities, including a dedicated sock washing line, ensuring every product reaches customers ready to wear. Additionally, the company is set to hire 1-2 new employees to strengthen its expert production team.
